Super Bowl Slow Cooker Korean BBQ Pork Loin


This is a great twist on the traditional BBQ for your Super Bowl party. It’s easy, warm, and flavorful and a clean meal for what is typically a high-caloric day in America!

Slow Cooker Korean BBQ Pork Loin

  • 2.5-3 lbs pork loin

  • 1 cup water

  • 1/2 cup rice wine vinegar

  • 1/4 cup organic, low sodium soy sauce

  • 4 Tablespoons tomato paste

  • 2 tablespoons honey

  • 2 tablespoons freshly grated ginger

  • 2 tablespoons orange juice

  • 1 teaspoon pepper

  • 2 teaspoons dried onion flakes

  • 3-4 garlic cloves, minced

  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil

  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper (optional)

Spray slow cooker with oil and place the pork loin into the crockpot. Season pork with black pepper to taste. Place all ingredients into a bowl and whisk together. Pour half of the BBQ sauce into the slow cooker. Cook on low for about 8-10 hours. Pull out pork and place onto a platter. Shred with 2 forks.

Place remaining BBQ sauce mixture into a pot. Bring to a boil over medium high heat and then reduce to low and simmer about 15 minutes until thickened. Serve as a BBQ sauce alongside or over the pulled pork. Garnish with cilantro.
