An Apple Pie Smoothie for President’s Day

Happy President’s Day! Here is a great treat for today’s patriotic holiday, or for just any ordinary, American day.

Apple Pie Smoothie

Makes 1 smoothie

  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 1/2  cup frozen apples (about 1 large apple, peeled and sliced)
  • 2 Tablespoons whole oats
  • 2 Tablespoons walnuts
  • 1-2 Tablespoons vanilla brown rice protein powder
  • 2 teaspoons apple pie spice (or cinnamon)
  • 1 teaspoon agave nectar or honey

Place all ingredients in a blender and mix. Serve and enjoy!
